1. What this policy covers
This policy explains the limited cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies used by adwiz.co.uk, the advertiser, publisher and referrer portals, and the separate AdWiz advertising technology that publishers may place on their own websites.
Cookies and local storage are small pieces of information stored on, or read from, a browser or device. On AdWiz they are used only to provide, protect and remember the service requested by the visitor or account holder.
2. Cookies required for AdWiz
AdWiz uses required service cookies for navigation, secure login, registration, account preferences, form protection, payment sessions and referral attribution. They are not used to build behavioural advertising profiles or sell browsing information.
The required-cookie notice must be acknowledged before a visitor can log in or create an account. Public information, the FAQ and legal pages remain available before acknowledgement.
3. Referral attribution
Referral attribution is part of the AdWiz service. When a visitor arrives through a referral link, AdWiz may remember the referral code and intended account role for up to 180 days so the person who introduced the new member can be credited correctly.
The referral code identifies the introducing AdWiz member. It is not used to infer interests, build a behavioural profile or track the visitor across unrelated services. Once a referred account is created, the referral relationship is stored against that account and no longer depends on the browser cookie.
4. AdWiz technology on publisher websites
Publisher websites may load the AdWiz advertising script to request, display, rotate and measure compatible adverts. The script may use browser storage named adwiz_visitor_id and adwiz_visitor_token_v1 to support repeat-charge protection, frequency caps, fraud prevention and consistent advertising measurement.
AdWiz does not provide or control the publisher website's own cookie banner. Each publisher is responsible for its own privacy and cookie notices and for obtaining any consent required before loading third-party advertising technology. AdWiz provides clear disclosure wording in the publisher portal to help publishers describe the service accurately.
AdWiz does not intend to use these identifiers to infer sensitive personal characteristics or build cross-service behavioural profiles.
5. Storage summary

6. The required-cookie notice
The notice explains the limited cookies required to provide the AdWiz service. Selecting Continue to AdWiz records that the notice has been acknowledged and allows login and registration to proceed.
AdWiz does not offer a separate optional-cookie choice because the cookies listed for adwiz.co.uk are limited to operating, protecting and remembering the requested service, including fair referral attribution.
7. Browser controls
Most browsers allow cookies and local storage to be viewed, blocked or deleted. Blocking or deleting required AdWiz cookies may prevent secure login, registration, referral recognition, payment sessions and other requested functions from working correctly.
8. Information for publishers
Publishers can open the Privacy and cookie disclosure page in the publisher portal for ready-made wording describing AdWiz advertising technology. Publishers should adapt that wording to their own website, legal obligations and consent system.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when AdWiz changes its technology, storage duration or legal obligations. The current version and update date will be published on this page.
10. Contact
Questions about AdWiz cookies or storage can be sent to email@adwiz.co.uk.
