Getting started

What is AdWiz?

AdWiz is a self-service advertising platform. Advertisers buy AdWiz Credits, create campaigns and adverts, and pay only when valid ad activity is confirmed. Publishers place approved ad spaces on their websites and earn from valid billable activity.

What do I need before I can advertise?

You need an AdWiz advertiser account, a verified email address, an approved advert, a campaign with allocated AdWiz Credits, and a valid destination URL if the advert is clickable.

What are AdWiz Credits?

AdWiz Credits are advertising value inside your advertiser account. In normal GBP settings, 1 Credit equals £1.00 of advertising value. Credits can be allocated to campaigns, but they are not withdrawable cash.

Do I need technical knowledge?

No. You can upload artwork or build adverts in the portal. AdWiz handles supported banner sizes, fit checks, serving, reporting and repeat-charge protection.

Why does AdWiz require cookies before login or registration?

AdWiz uses a small set of required-service cookies for secure sessions, registration, account preferences, payment sessions and referral attribution. The referral cookie makes sure the person who introduced a new member can be credited fairly. These cookies are not used to build behavioural profiles or sell browsing information.

Campaigns and Credits

How do campaigns work?

A campaign is the container for your adverts, reporting, daily spend limit and allocated Credits. AdWiz only serves active approved adverts from campaigns that still have available campaign Credits.

When is money taken from my wallet?

Your wallet is debited when you allocate AdWiz Credits to a campaign. Normal ad serving then spends the campaign Credits; it does not charge your wallet a second time.

Can I create a campaign before funding it?

Yes. You can prepare a campaign and adverts before allocating Credits. It will not spend until it has approved adverts and available campaign Credits.

What is the daily spend limit?

The daily spend limit is the maximum number of campaign Credits AdWiz should spend in one day for that campaign. A value of 0 means no daily limit, subject to the remaining campaign Credits.

What happens when campaign Credits run out?

The campaign stops being eligible for paid serving. You can allocate more Credits from your wallet to continue.

Adverts and approvals

What advert types are supported?

AdWiz supports uploaded image banners, generated SVG adverts, animated GIF adverts where supported, controlled HTML banner assets and inline video adverts using advertiser-hosted video URLs.

What is a banner size?

A banner size is one specific creative size within an advert, such as 728x90, 300x250 or 320x100. You can submit selected sizes for review.

Why are adverts reviewed?

Review protects publishers, visitors and advertisers. Admin checks that the advert is suitable, that clickable adverts have a valid destination, and that the creative fits the selected banner size.

Can I edit an active advert?

Active adverts are protected because they may already have serving and billing history. You can usually create or upload another banner size, pause an active advert, or submit a revised version for review.

Can I run display-only adverts?

Yes. Display-only adverts can create valid impressions, but they do not create billable click charges because they are not clickable.

Billing and reporting

What counts as a valid impression?

A valid impression requires a compatible advert to be served, the browser to confirm that the ad space entered visible page area, repeat-charge protection to pass, traffic checks to pass, and the campaign to have available Credits.

Is a page load automatically billable?

No. A raw ad load is not automatically billable. AdWiz separates raw loads from valid visible impressions and valid clicks.

How are clicks counted?

A click must belong to a clickable advert, be linked to recent valid activity, pass campaign click-cap protection and pass traffic-quality checks. Repeated or suspicious clicks may be recorded without being charged repeatedly.

Why do reports show protected or invalid events?

AdWiz records some activity for audit and protection even when it is not charged. This helps explain traffic quality and prevents repeated charging from the same visitor pattern.

Why do tiny charges show four decimals?

Some impression and click prices are below one penny. AdWiz displays these to four decimal places so a 0.0055 Credit event is not misrepresented as 0.01.

Troubleshooting

Why is my approved advert not showing?

Common causes are no allocated campaign Credits, daily spend limit reached, repeat cap already met for that visitor, no matching publisher ad space, the campaign being paused or the advert size not matching the available space.

Why did I see a fallback advert instead of my advert?

Fallback adverts appear when no suitable paid advert should show for that exact space, when paid inventory is capped, or when the available advert would be a poor fit.

Can I choose exactly which website shows my advert?

AdWiz is designed around compatible approved ad spaces and fair serving rules. More targeting options can be added later, but the launch model prioritises simple, safe and compatible delivery.
